LUDENDORFF CONFERS WITH THE EMPEROR.
REICHSRATH CONVOKED FOR 16th.
(Australian and N.Z. CaMe Association.! LONDON, July 1. The Daily Telegraph's Milan correspondent states that Ludendorff's visit to Vienna indicates Germany's concern at events m Austria. Ludendorff, after a long conference with the Emperor Karl, accompanied by General von Arz. visited the entire Italian front. Another council of war followed, at which Ludendorff urged the necessity for reconquering some of the lost positions, but such attacks would not result m improving the; situation. The political outlook is growing worse, and it is confirmed that the Emperor Karl commanded Dr. Seidler and Cabinet to withdraw their resignations and re-appointed them bodily. The Emperor Karl, *m a rescript, states : "The Reichsrath must be convoked for July 16, whether giving Dr. ReicUer a majority! or not." Dr. Seidler declares that he does not want to govern with Article 14 of the Constitution, which means a military dictatorship, but will use it to prevent Parliament hampering affairs of State. '
