Hustler occupied- the chair, and A m outlining the object of the meeting referred to the work of the V.M.C.A., "which ho described as a medium through which we were enabled to supply our men with ,necessary comforts to cheer and sustain them. Mr. Griffiths also spoke m eulogistic terms of the work of this institution, illustrating his remarks from his own experiences while in' France. An excellent ■programme -was provided and enjoyed by all present. In proposing a vote of thanks to the performbrsv Mr. R. J. Fleming specially mentioned the Ladies' Committee, whose members had worked so hard during the campaign. As a result of^bhe entertainment the fund benefited by the amount of £27. . . • . - >t i , ... .
