The Morning Post's Petrograd 'correspondent says Russia will fight again victoriously, but only under the present rulers. She is now straightening the sinuosities on the front, implying the relinquishment, of additional territory, but is also helping the Allies by drawing an increasing number of Germans ' deeper into Russia. Fresh Russian troops will Ito substituted for the disbanded mvii. There will be no more engineering of a grand strategic scheme, bi-t, much that will be infinitely more useful tactical work, such as that whereby General Alexieff during the several months' retreat kept his armies unbroken and inflicted maximum injury on tbe Germans, namely short blows, frequently repeated along the whole front. Then the Russian resources were already strained to the. utmost to hold the territory occupied. Four of the most revolutionary members of the. Russian Workers- and Soldiers' Council have left London for Paris, Ramsay Mac Donald accompanying them. '
