DUNEDIN, this day In response to inquiries by the Government as to whether they want a further stock of Australian wheat, the Dunedin millers replied that owing to the importation of Australian flour into the North Island business has declined so that they cannot accept more wheat meanwhile. The millers also say they are not preSared to pay the price asked by thY overnment, as they cannot produce flour except at a loss. The "millers oommunicated with the Government with the objeot of having the import duty on Aus- ' tralian flour increased, so aa to stop importation while the Government are distributing the wheat purchased by the Ministry.
