His Majesty the . King, accompanied by General Godley and Sir lan Hamilton, reviewed -the New Zealand reinforcement units at Salisbury Plain. The weather was warm and fine.

After a march past the King presented orie Distinguished Conduct Medal and eight Military Medals, and congratulated the recipients. Afterwards Mr and Mrs Massey, Sir Joseph and Lady Ward, Sir Thos. and Lady Mackenzie, and a number of New Zealand ladies and officers wero presented to the King. His Majesty congratulated the massed troops on their fine appearance. Mr Massey and Sir Joseph Ward addressed the troops. The party afterwards visited the New Zealand Soldiers' -Club at Salisbury.
