In the House of Commons Mr Bathurst said that meatless days might have to be abandoned, because they involved h strain on the consumption of bread. H< added that the prohibition of horse racing applied) to Ireland ; also that an ordei providing for the rationing of thoroughbred stock would be issued shortly.
