APPEALS FOR EXEMPTION.

(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Before the Second Military Service Board, a farm, laborer appealed. He stated that he had five stepsons at the front. One had been killed, another was badly wounded and was returning, and two others hod also been wounded. Appellant was married m May last. Ilia chairman said the record was a great one for a mother of sons, but he did not know that appellant was entitled to ; a great deal of consideration on account: of what the sons had done.
