An authoritative Italian source says the Anglo-French offensive has destroyed Austro-German hopes of invading Italy Tlie enemy are anxiously awaiting an Italian offensive, for which elaborate preparations have been made. The weather has hitherto' delayed operations. A smashing blow which may decide the issues of tho waa* m the Near East is anticipated.
