A BOARD SET UP

In the House of Commons Mr Baird, m introducing the aviation estimates, said) there would be after the war a vast number of machines and trained pilots. An industry had' been built up for war purposes and' it could not bo neglected m peace time. A committee had been established to consider the question, with Lord Northcliffe as chairman, and representatives of the two the Board of Trade, Post Office, Colonial' Office, Customs, Treasury, and Dominions.
