DECLINE IN WAR ORDERS.
UNITED STATES MANUFACTURERS FORESEE END OF WAR. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Received July 24. 9.5 a.m.) NEW YORK, July 23. The New York Times, discussing the decline of war orders to America, points out that one company alone has dismantled an enormous plant, discharging 2500 employees. The British inspector is leaving, because British manufacturers are able to supply the demand. The value of war order stocks has also been affected by the Russian successes on the Eastern front and tlie Franco-British advance m the West, . which have led many to foresee the end of the war m the near future.
