BATTLE IN IHE BALTIC.
INDICATIONS THAT RUSSIANS REPULSED GERMANS. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, July 21. It is reported that there was a naval engagement in the Baltic on Wednesday night. Indications are that the Germans were repulsed. COPENHAGEN, July 21. There was violent cannonading between Landsort and Gottskasando ou Wednesday night. A large German torpedoer was seen in the morning steaming rapidly southward. It is supposed the Russians were pursuing the Germans, as firing was still audible but in a. more southerly direction. Firing also was heard near Sunsvall.
