KAISER'S SPRING SERMON.
' STRANGE CONCEPTION OF CHRIST. v . (The Times.) (Received , July 20, 9 aim.) LONDON, July 19. The Times correspondent at Amsterdam reports that the Kaiser, in his spring sermon to the field chaplains, stated: "We must show a stern front in this time of trial and world war, separating the corn from the chaff. We need practical Christianity. If the Lord walked into this room do you think we could look Him in the face? You must show us the personality of the Lord, who now is assuredly walking 'through the world, perhaps to judgment."
