'llje.Nelson Union referred" tho matter to the AVatersiders' Federation, whose >?xtcutive to-day conferred with representatives of the Shipowners' Federation, the Union Company, and. the Anchor Company, and arrived at a satisfactory settlement on a basis of a new Federation agreement. This gives .the Ne*son workers an., increase of threepence, pvn* hour ordinary : time and fourpence to sixpence for overtime to 10 p.m. and after respectively. Permanent employes dl the Wellington Harbor Board were granted an increase of Is 3d per day. - • ' ■
