A FRANK STATEMENT.
SUPPLY OF MUNITIONS NOT UP TO REQUIREMENTS. LONDON, January 22. The outstanding incident to-day m the House of Commons was Mr Asquith's highly important statement that despite the arrangement made with the Trade Union representatives, the progress m the munitions work is far behind the national requirements. The newspapers state that the Premier sprang a surprise' on the House by his grave words.
