THE ATTACK ON THE ASTURIAS.
CATASTROPHE NARROWLY AVERTED.
(Received February 6, 8.40 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 5. - The Asturias has arrived at Southampton. Her crew started that a catastrophe was prevented owing to the the alertness and promptitude of the officer on the bridge who, seeing the white track of a torpedo, brought the vessel round in a short half circle, the projectile passing harmlessly astern.
