SHIP PURCHASE BILL.
HAVING A ROUGH PASSAGE

(Received February 5, 8.30 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 4. The Times' Washington correspondent says the revolt of some of the Democratic Senators threatens the passage of. the Ship Purchase Bill. The President's supporters are working feverishly to secure its safety. The President has given an assurance that the Government will not purchase the interned German ships against the wish of the other belligerents.
