NARROW ESCAPE OF KING OF BELGIUM
A TREACHEROUS CHAUFFEUR
Received September 23, 8.30 a.m.) LONDON, September 22. A Lille newspaper states that King Albert had a narrow escape. During his tour of inspection the chauffeur made towards tlie Gorman . lines. The King ordered him to stop, but he continued at full speed, and King Albert shot him. Documents were found m the man's pocket offering a million francs for the King.
