WELLINGTON, last night. The following statement of the receipts and expenditure of tho Consolidated Fund for the quarter ended 31st March is published m the Gazette tonight, the figures for 1913 being given within parenthesis, and shillings and pence being omitted : —
Receipts: Balance at beginning of qulanter, ££T5,650 ; ordinary revenue, ±"5,827,174 ; ' territorial revenue, £83,---32 3; miscellaneous, £4862 ; total £4,488,011. Tot**! revenue for corresponding quarter 'of 1913, £4,515,000. Expenditure): Permanent appropriations, £1,022,318; annual appropriations, £2,413,787 • trajisferred to Public Works fund, £625,000 ; balance at end of quarter, £426,905 ; total £4,488,011. Balance at end of March quarter, 1913, £709,508.
'treasury bills outstanding at beginning of quarter, £503,000 treasury bills issued during the quarter, £3C0,C00 ; Treasury bills redeemed during the quarter, £803,000.
