Professor Schiemann, confidential adviser to. the Kaiser, 'writing to the Kreuz jZeitung.. pleads for a defintie official . utterance whether it is true that an Anglo-Frarico-Russian naval convention exist*, concerning both the Mediterranean and 'the Baltic.

Since the Moroccan crisis there has been perpetual discussion of the possibility' of making systematic economic preparations for ' war. A meeting of the periiianeht > committee which, advises the Government on commercial subjects discussed, the question under the presidency of the Minuter of the Interior. It was decided fthat the committee take charge of the problem.
