SWIMMING CARNIVAL.

-m— The weather was most unfavorable for the Gisborne Swimming Club's carnival on Saturday night, consequently the attendance was not very large. The events were got off expeditiously, the secretary being Mr V. Dooling. The other officials were : Judges, Messrs D. J. Barry and? 1 F. J. Rowley ; handicapper, Mr C. Allen; call steward, Mr K.
