(Press Assn.—By Telegraph— Copyright.) DUBLIN, Sept. 3. Tlie two tenement houses which collapsed m Dublin, were m the oldest parts of the city and were inhabited by poor working people. One man was m bed, and others were sitting on their door steps, while children were playing on the pavement.

The first house collapsed with a tremendous crash without warning, and the second soon followed.

A majority of the occupants escaped, and families m adjoining houses fled, terror-stricken. ' ■ - ' , A third house is on the verge of collapse.

Eight bodies, including a mother, clasping her baby, were soon recovered, from the wreckage, which had fallen into the streets, but others were buried under tons of briclc and mortar.
