At the Trades Union -Congress, Mr Harvey, Miners' Union delegate, moved and the Congress adopted, a resolution emphasising the vital importance of the ballot '-which Avas proceeding under the Trades Uniton Act of 1913, and strongly recommending all trade unionists to vote m favor of unions undertaking political action. , Mr Harvey described the miners as the pioneers of political activity. He said that money expended m that direction Avas tho finest investment ever made. (Cheers.)
