PUHA SATURDAY NIGHT TRAIN
to be Discontinued..

The member for the Bay of .Plenty has been advised 'by ,the. Hon.: . Wa H. Herries, -Minister o\ Railways, that a fair trial has been given to . the, running of a Saturday night train from Gisborne to Puha, instead of to Te Karaka, and it is found that the traffic is insufficient to warrant the ;iuniung of this train between Te Karaka and Puha. In the circumstances the Minister regrets that the service will have to; be discontinued) at the end ,of .the month,' but the other trains running* to Puha will be continued. V '
