(Press Assn.— By Telegraph— Copyright.) SYDNEY,' September 2. There were nine cases of smallpox today, including a youth who was waiting for some time at the Town Hall for vaccination.
Since the outbreak there have been 616 Cases.
MELBOURNE; September 2. The Persic case is officially declared not to be smallpox. ' WELLINGTON, last night. > The Deputy Chief Health Officer's smallpox bulletin to-night states that the Auckland District Health Officer reports nothing fresh ''from! Auckland' city, suburbs, Or country districts'. A note to the bulletin states : "Re recent North of Auckland cases, a telegram, received . to-day shows tlmt one woman and two children were admitted to the Kaikohe Hospital on Saturday last and two adult males on Sunday."
