GIRL SHOT DEAD

NEW YORK, Sept. 2
The Calumet copper miners yesterday resumed rioting, and there was fierce fighting between the sheriff's deputies and the miners. ;
A girl was shot dead, and many were injured.
Tho militia finally restored order.
