(Press Assn.— By Telegranb— Copyright.) HOBART, September 1. Albert Britton was remanded on acharge of the manslaughter of George Jones.
Accused volunteered a statement that they had been the best of friends since children. They had been out shooting and on returning home they extracted, as they believed, all the cartridges from the guns. Jones pointed his gun at Britton and pulled the hammer m 'a lark, whereupon Britton did the same, but his went, off with fatal results.
