At the trial of Jeannie Baxter for tho murder of Bernard Hall* Baxter related how Hall had forced a revolver upon Unwin, hia rival lover, m her flat m December. When Unwin left Hall promised to marry Baxter, but when asked to fulfil the promise he picked up a- revolver, and whistling down the barrel said, "I dare- you to pull the trigger." Sh(T caught his hand,, when j the revolver wont off and he was killed.
