HURRICANE AT SAMOA.

The storm, he states, raged with terrific fury, and played havoc with the cocoanut plantations and native houses at Manua especially. There was no loss of. life, but native food supplies were destroyed by the violence of the storm, which is described as the heaviest experienced at the islands for yeaa's.
