Imports to Great Britain sljow an increase of £2,551,119, and exports £10,---166,,462; re-exports show a decrease of £25,338. The Central News Paris corespondent states that Sir Derricks Wernher has been arrested for alleged fraud. The .police are reticent. The Duke of Connaught has expressed appreciation of the messages of sympathy received, including those from Australia and New Zealand, which he states will encourage the Duchess to fight against the insidious disease. PAEIS, May 7. The Temps denies that Sir D. Wernher was arrested. It states that a magistrate interrogated him on an unimportant civil claim.
