NEW JAPANESE LINERS.
The Inaba Maru, the 8000-ton liner for the Nippin Yusen Kaisha Australian service lias, according to advices received by Messrs Burns, Philp, and Co., left Yokohama for Sydney. She replaces the Yawata Maru 1 m the service, and is expected to make a fast run to Australia. The N.Y.K. is making further additions to its fleet. A 10,000 tonner, named the Katori Maru, has been launched at Nagasaki. This vessel is a triplescrew steamer, built m Japan, and embodies all the latest ideas. She is to run between Japan and London, and the Tango Maru, now on that line, is to enter the Australian, service. A sister ship to the Katori Maru is to be launched at Kobe this month, arid four other steamers similar 'in design are to follow,
