ROWING.
The semi-Hnal for fcfr A. , J. Cox'p double sculls was rowed lost evening. The niembers of tho Gisborne Club (A. G. Gerrard and Jim Winter) beat It. .V. Gully and M. Oman by a few feet after a very interesting race. The next race was between C. O. Hansen and V. Kaye, and B. Moore and R. Miller. At the junction Hansen had ' about n length's lead, but here Moore rowed hard but was unable to overtake Hansen, who won by a canvas. Tho final will bo rowed tjiis evening, when A.. G. Gerrard- and Jim Winter- row C. O. Hansen and V. Kaye. The following were the results of the Buscke ■culling, events rowed last evening: — 0. Somervell (scr.) beat A. O'Meara (23sec), U, Fraser (20) beat R. Pyeroft (19), A. Qtiigley (33) beat F. Everiss (23). Those races will be continued this evening.
