The members of the Tramway Employees' Union donned union badges, and the officials ordered them to remove these. They declined, and many were dismissed. Men on trams not "wearing badges are hooted and jeered. The company stopped running all trams after business hours last I night, and will not attempt to run them till a later hour than usual morning.
