Bruce : Licensing, for restoration 2357, against 3123; national prohibition 3022, against 2395.

Nelson : For the Nelson seat a second ballot may be necessary between Atmore and Moffatt. The absent voters, about 70, will not alter the result. Atmore is about 250 behind an absolute majority. Christchurch South— ibetjveen Ell and Whiting : Figures subject to correction, and a recount is absolutely necessary, there being a doubt concerning the informal votes. Taumarunui: Jennings 2593, Wilson 2709. Continuance 2897, no-license 2266; for prohibition 2597, against 2549. Four small returns to come.
