Franke is suing Commander Peary for £1000 sterling as compensation for Dr. Cook's bearskins ahd walrus tusks, He alleges that Commander Peary refused to take him Avith hilh from Greenland unless ho handed oyer Dr. Cook's property, whereof Franke owned the half.
