A GREAT SUN STORM.
(Per Press Association.) OHRISTCHURCH, last night. Mr- Clement L. Wragge writes: — "A great storm has suddenly broken out near the centre of the sun's disc, and measures abouti 23 odd miles m diahiotor. It may be regarded as abnormal, and m connection therewith we expect to hear by cable of further seismic disturbance and auroral displays ; probably, also, ships' compasses will be affected by etheric vibrations and acceleration of electrons caused by this unusual energy. The abnormal prolongation of solar storms may be due to the influence of a dark sun acting from Avithout our .solar system.
