AN OPPOSITION RALLY.

(Per Press Association.) PAHIATUA, this day. Messrs Massey and C. J. Allen were accorded an enthusiastic reception at the Olympio Theatre last night. The building was crowded, many having come a long distance to be present. Both speakers dealt generally with the policy and administration of the Government, which they condemned as being inimical to the interests of the ' country. Both speeches were punctuated with frequent bursts of applaose. and at* the close of the meeting Messrs Massey and Allen were heartily cheered.
