WEST'S PICTURES.
The return visit of West's Pictures and the Brescians is to commence on Thursday next at His Majesty's Theatre. The, opening programme is a specially choice; selection of pictures and music, and will contain all the latest and most up-to-date cinematograms, including a very : wide range of subjects, historical, dramatic, magic, pathetic, comic, and instructive scenes, its well as some very beautiful creations in animated colored photography. The Brescians are a combination of very fine vocal and instrumental artists, whose sterling qualities have made them so universally popular throughout New Zealand and the Commonwealth. Their portion of the programme comprises selections of classic, operatic, and popular music, and will also include songs by Miss Antoria Martinengo, Miss Sylvia Martinengo, Miss Maude Brown, Miss Lulu Waddell. Mr T. N. Lax, Mr Rudall Hay ward, Mr Maurice C'hcnoweth, violin solo by Miss Adelina Martinengo, comic items by Mr Fred Mills, operatic selections, trios; etc. The box plan of the reserved seats is now open at Mr Miller's.
