| GREAT REVIEW AT 'FRISCO. (Press Assn.— By Telegraph.— Copyright.) AUCKLAND, this day. News from San Francisco states tliat it wJi.s the intention of the Navy Department to- assemble with the Atlantic and Pacific Heels on May 8. The Secretary of (lie Na'Vy will review the combined fleets. On the day of the review alii the vessels will be fully dressed, and at night illuminated. Aai immense illuminated welcome will, be erected 1 on Telegraph Hall, with letters lifty feet high. A feature of the shore festivities will be a great ball arranged by society women to entertain the men of the _Wt at which there will be no social distinction, several society ladies having expressed a desire to dance with the American sailors.
