POST AND TELEGRAPH DEPARTMENT. GOOD FRIDAY AND EASTER MON. DAY, 17th and 20th APRIL, 1908. Good Friday and Ea.ste r Monday, the 17th and 20th April, will be observed by Post and Telegraph offices as follows : — The following hours will.be observed at the Chief Post Office, Gisborne :— Postal Branch. —A close holiday will be observed on (Jood Friday: On Easter Monday, the 20th April, the Post Office will be' open:in all branches, except the Money Order and Savings Bank, from 9 a.m. ! to 10 a.m. On.the evenings of Thursd.ay, 16th, and Saturday, 18th April, '-".all: receivers . and posting boxes will be cleared. Mails iisually despatched on Friday will be closed at 7.30 p.m. on Thursday night. On Monday the 20th April' the usual despatch of mails iip to 8 a.m. will be made.
