The Sea. men's Union agreed to coastal shipowners having a month to arrange for all- nonunionist, crews being .brought together into six steamers. Thirty-three out of 38 non-unionists employed on theY Newcastle-Hunter River Company struck, on tfieO ground that under the new agreement they will be paid casual rates, in stead of weekly wages.
