{Per Press Association.) NAPIER, this day. The weather cleared sufficiently this morning to allow of the swimming championships being proceeded with. The water was a bit choppy. The results were :— 22oyds, breast , stroke championship: A. M. Uussell (Sydenham) 1, G. L. Bull (St. Albans) 2, F. Tvuscott (Christchurch, last year's champion) 3. Won by four feet. Time 3.17 l-sth. The 100yds swimming championship resulted :— Champion (Auckland) 1, Freybuiß (Wellington) 2, Dawson (Otago) 3. Won by four yards. Freyburg swam outside the flags. Time 1.13.
