BOMB EXPLOSION.
PLOT AGAINST KING OF PORTUGAL. (Press Assn. — By Telegraph— Copyright). (Received August 23, 10.40 a.m.) LISBON, August 22. A bomb explosion here led to the discovery of a plot to assassinate King Car. Los and the Premier. While a bomb for this purpose was being prepared it exploded, killing the conspirator and wounding twd others. Thirty Republicans have been arrest- j cd. A student named Bettencourt, the, ringleader of the plot, was making bombs at the moment of the explosion. Documents compromising many people were found m his apartments.
