SHIPPING INTELLIGENCE.

The Union Co.'s s.s. Haupiri (Captain J. Campbell) arrived from Auckland and Coast bays at 6 o'clock last evening, and. proceeded to Napier, Wellington, and Westport. Gisborne passengers from Coast: Misses East Bowler, Voge; Mesdames Dick and child, Smith, Murphy and family (4); Messrs C. Kirk, Williams, ana Murphy. The Union Co.'s s.s. 9l_uall (Captain Gregory), worked Tolaga Bay yesterday afternoon, and arrived here at an early hour this morning. The ves-.ei berthed at the wharf, where She discharges 150 tons general cargo, and proceeds to Napier this evening. The Union Co.'s s.s. Tarawera arrives from Southern ports to-morrow morning, and proceeds to Auckland; last boat at 9 a.m. ~ The -Huddart-Parker . Co.'s s.s. Vic-toria-arrives from Sydney and Auckland to-morrow afternoon, arid proceeds to Southern ports the same evening; last boat 5 p.m. (meantime). - The Union Co.'s s.s. Wanaka (Capt. Stevens) arrived from South early this morning. Corinthic arrived from Wellington to-morrow morning to load for London. Local shipments consist of equal to 15,000 carcases and 600 bales wool. -She com;, pletes loading on Friday night, and returns South. Messrs Common, Shelton and Co. are loading ngents. Local shipments by- the Tyser steamer ' Star of New Zealand, which completed loading on Saturday night, were 645 carcases frozen mutton, 7471 carcases lamb, 1370 quarters beef, 901 pieces mutton, and 76 bales wool. The Squall this morning brought transhipments er Kaikoura from London and Suffolk from Liverpool. . . The newly-formed Maoriland Steamship Company's recently purchased curgo steamer Ennerdale, which it is reported is intended "for the Thames-Wellington timber trade, sailed from Barry, ■ Wales, on Saturday last for Fremantle, Western Australia, with a general cargo. Tlie Ennerdale will afterwards load timber at Bunbury for New Zealand. Captain Holm, formerly of the barque Helen. Denny, is in command of the Ennerdale. The scow Southern Isle sailed from Totara North this afternoon with a full v cargo of kauri timber for Messrs ,H. J.
