A Canadian branch of the Royal mint is soon to be established, at Avhich not only the silver currency of the country will be coined, but also 10-dollar, 5-dol-lar, and 1-dollar gold pieces. The Canadian gold standard has hitherto been the American 20-dollar Rpld piece. The - silver has been coined in England and the paper currency printed in the United States.
