Miller in the chair. , A letter was received from the Cricket Association, asking for a rebate on tlie Union's share of tlie gate money taken at the representative cricket matches held at Easter.— lt was decTded that the. Union could not grant the Association's request, and that their agreement must be adhered to, but on tlie 41011011 of the Chairman is was decided to vote the Cricket'Association a bonus of £7 from tho Union's funds. It .was. decided' to'. 'frame a by-law suspending all meriibeiß of clubs who 'have not lwid their 'subscriptions' by June sth. A resolution was passed that an accident fund be formed, th© same- to come into! operation during this season. A player wliohas left the disWict with a representative jersey was suspended, and the New Zealand Union and Wanganui Union will be. notified of this decision. A large quantity of routine business wa§ transacted.' It was decided to obtain dpsigns for a gat . at the entrance to lhe Domain. Halbert, Brown, Pine, Hekc, Mutu, Wyllie, HakiAvai, Timoti, Swann, Paaka 'Turpi } emergencies, Patiliana, Kauri.
