SHIPPING INTELLIGENCE.
The Tyser steamer Star of New Zealand (Captain E. D. Beck) arrived from Wellington at 7.30 last evening to load from Messrs Nelson Bros.' works. Local shipments consist of equal to 10,000 carcases frozen meat and a quantity of wool. The iteamer is expected to receive this by to-morrow evening, and will then proceed to Brisbane and other Australian S'rts to complete her loading. Agents : essrs Williams and Kettle. Tlie Union Co. 'a s.s. Kaiapoi (Captain Robinson) arrived from Newcastle at 2 o'clock this morning. The steamer, brings a full cargo of coal, and discharges about 400 tons Here for various consignees, and proceeds tp Napier. '< ' i The Union Co.'s s.s; Kotuku arrived from Westport at 2.30 this morning with 250 tons coal consigned to the Westport Coal Company for Messrs Nelson Bros. She proceeds to Napier to-night. The Union Col's s.s. Haupiri was still at Te Araroa this morning, and was expected to reach E'ort Awanui this afternoon. She is due here on Sunday night. The Huddart-Parker Co.'s s.s. Zealandia arrives from Southern ports to-morrow morning, and proceeds to Auckland, and Sydney ; last boat 10 a.m. The Union Co.'s s.s. Moura returns from Auckland on Sunday afternoon, and proceeds to Southern ports. The departure of the s.s. Toroa from Napier was postponed owing to the rain preventing tne discharge of cargo. The steamer mil arrive here to-morrow morning, and proceeds to Oamaru to-morrow night upon discharge. The s.s. Ruru is due from Napier tomorrow morning, and returns to Napier at midday. ■ *■ Messrs Peacbcke and Co. repoit that the scow Welcome left 'the, Bay. of Islands this morning with 56,000 ft of sawn timber for them. Tlie scow Alert left Kiripaka to-day with a load of coal for Robb Bros. The Coronation is also proceeding to load for the same firm. The auxiliary schooner Waiapra has been loaded with timber from Messrs DeLautour and DeLautourV mill at Te Araroa since Saturday, but the prevailing heavy weather has kept the boat windbound. The ketch Coronation sails for Coast bays and Auckland as soon as the weathei moderates.
