SHIPPING INTELLIGENCE.

The Union Co.'s s.s. Squall (Captain Gregory) arrived from Napier early this morning and was berthed at the? wharf at 7 o'clock. She brings a large cargo, mostly bridge material. The steamer will -be despatched to Tolaga^Bay and Auck- ' land on to-morrow morning's tide. Messrs Richardson and Co.'s s.s. Weka arrived from Napier at 9.30 this morrfing. She was expected 1 to return -South early to-morrow morning. ;.,;.,. The Union Co.'s s.s. . Moura arrives from .Southern ports about 7 to-morrow morning, and proceeds to Auckland; last boat 10 a.m. » The Union Co.^ s.s. Kotuku left Westport last night,, and is due here to-mor-row night. The Union Co.'s s.s. Mokoia arrives from Sydney and Auckland to-morrow afternoon, and proceeds to Southern ports, last boat 5 p.m.;. (meantime). The Tyser steamer Star of New Zealand is due- from Wellington on Thursday morning. . _ , The s.s. - Toroa is leaving Napier for Gisborne to-morrow. evening. Transhipments ex Tomoana aiid Inveran from New York, also' the balance of the Maori's consignments, came to hand by the Squall this morning. The schooner Awanui 'sailed for Auckland this morning. Messrs H. J. Peacocke and Co. have been advised that the scow Welcome is loading timber for the firm at Opou, Bay of Islands.
