Plymouth 56 Christchurch... 54 Wanganui... 50 Timaru ... 49 . Wellington 46 Oamaru ... 45 Blenheim... 47 Dunedin ... 48 j . Nelson ... 47 Invercargill ... 39 ' Capt. Edwin advised to-day_: "Easterly, strong winds to gale ; glass" fall ; tides very high, sea very heavy; rain, probably heavy ; rivers flooded." At East Cape this morning there was a fresh S.E. breeze, cloudy sky, and moderate sea. Easterly- and S.E. winds continued today. The weather was generally fine througohut 'the colony. - A considerable sea was running at Cape Maria Van Diemen, moderate at Castlepoint.
