There was a good attendance, nnd the 6um of £8669 , was put through the machine, against \ £3280 on the corresponding day lust year, 1 an increase- o f £3286. Avandale Handicap, 176 soys, 1£ miles : Carl Rosa 1, Uhlahder 2, Lord Seaton 3. Scratched : AkJaraua and Sir Gilead. ! Won comfortably by three lengtlis. Time i 2.11 1-5; Divs., £5 10s and £1. I Pony -HandJcajp, 5 Jurlongs : Waihou 1, ' Storyteller 2,, Octoroon. 3. All started. Won easily. Time, 1.4 4-5. Divs., £7 i 16s and £1. .. Chevalier Handicap, 4 furlongs : Celerity 1, Tttrbino 2, Klondyke 3.
