A Christchurcli fishmonger, in answer to the Premier's threat to open fish shops to tope with the alleged ring, inserted the following advertisement i,n a local paper: — "Chrislrhureh Fish Trade and iSeddon Kings. A bona-lide offer is hereby made to the Government to take over my business at a valuation. This will enable the Premier to flatten the Christ- j church ring out in one smack. This offer is open for three months."
